Browsers cannot directly create physical or virtual audio cable input devices on Windows due to sandbox design. To stream soundboards smoothly without echo to your team, follow this lightweight legacy trick (takes 2 minutes):
Download VB-CABLE Virtual Audio Cable (free, lightweight, standard). Once installed, it creates a virtual speaker called CABLE Input.
Use the toggle in SoundForge "Mic Loopback Pass-through". This shares your actual microphone mixed directly with your custom sounds.
In Discord voice settings, set Input to CABLE Output. Turn off "Krisp Noise Suppression" so background music/SFX aren't cut out!
By default, if you route the browser tab audio to VB-Cable, you won't hear it directly. To monitor live, go to Windows classic Sound Settings -> Recording tab -> Right-click "CABLE Output" -> Properties -> "Listen" -> Check "Listen to this device" and pick your main headphones.
